Curator Review
Verdict
A glossy, high-drama teen romance built on forbidden attraction, wealth, and melodrama. It’s messy and often absurd, but it clearly knows how to keep viewers hooked if they’re in the mood for a trashy, high-energy guilty pleasure.
Best for
fans of steamy YA romance
viewers who enjoy melodramatic forbidden-love plots
people looking for an easy, bingeable guilty pleasure
audiences who like flashy cars, parties, and heightened soap-opera energy
Skip if
you want believable character behavior
you dislike taboo romance setups
you need strong writing or tonal consistency
you’re not interested in teen melodrama or sensual soap-opera storytelling
Overview
My Fault is the kind of movie that lives or dies on whether you can surrender to its ridiculousness. It leans hard into the fantasy of danger, desire, and class contrast, wrapping the whole thing in glossy visuals, racing-adjacent swagger, and a constant sense that everyone is one impulsive decision away from disaster.
Worth noting
The appeal is not subtlety. The film is built for viewers who want chemistry, conflict, and a steady stream of over-the-top turns rather than realism. It has the energy of a wattpad-style fantasy with enough momentum to stay entertaining even when the plotting gets silly.
Bottom line
What holds it together is the sheer commitment to its own excess. If you’re in the right mood, it plays like polished trash in the best sense: fast, shameless, and easy to watch. If you’re not, it will feel like a chaotic endurance test.

This was a really really hard watch but it kept me entertained so points for that !
memorable moments:- they played k. by cas as she walks into a car racing arena for gangs- she said she’s not like other girls (unironically)- he completely undresses himself and lets his dick hang out in the middle of a crowded beach to change into a wetsuit ??- “dude are you crazy? Isn’t that your step sister” “yeah and?” “Isn’t that like incest?” *cuts to next scene”- she gets abducted while he’s buying condoms

For audiences drawn to emotional teen romance and a strong young-adult fanbase, though much gentler in tone.
